After this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, ABBA is under the spotlight as they will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their win next year. In a recent interview with BBC Newsnight, Benny Andersson revealed he doesn’t want a reunion show.

Revealing his thoughts on a possible ABBA reunion, Benny Andersson said the following:

I don’t want to, and if I don’t want to, the others won’t. It’s the same for all four of us – someone says, ‘no’ – it’s a no.

Björn Ulvaeus added:

“We can celebrate 50 years of Abba without us being on stage.

In April 2023, Björn Ulvaeus revealed that ABBA’s latest album ‘Voyage’ will be their last. However, as the band’s virtual concert tour featuring ‘ABBAtars’ continues, he didn’t rule out the possibility that they might be involved in other exciting things as technology evolves.

Ulvaeus told NME the following:

“‘Voyage’ the album was the last you’ll ever hear from us. There will be new exciting formats in the future that we know very little about right now. AI, the Metaverse, there are lots of interesting and exciting things happening creatively that ABBA might be involved in as well.”

According to EOnline, ABBA turned down a $1 billion offer to reunite for 100 concerts in 2000.
