Bad Wolves singer Daniel ‘DL’ Laskiewicz has joined Falling in Reverse as their new bassist. He recently performed his second show with the band and shared his experience in a statement posted on Instagram.
Laskiewicz reflected on the intensity of performing with his new band in front of a massive audience.
“Most intense show I’ve ever played,” Laskiewicz said. “90,000 heads, my 2ND show with FIR. Insane…i’m speechless. Forever Grateful.”
The musician’s transition from Bad Wolves to Falling in Reverse marks a significant career move as he takes on bass duties for the band.
This lineup change comes amid ongoing developments within Falling in Reverse’s roster. It represents another chapter in the band’s evolving history.
The PRP reported that Laskiewicz’s role in Falling in Reverse occurred without an official announcement about the status of his predecessor, Tyler Burgess. Burgess had previously played bass for the band and served in two separate stints with the group, from 2018 to 2021 and again from 2022 to the present day. This makes his current status with the band unclear.
Laskiewicz brings considerable musical experience to his new role. Loudwire noted that he previously played guitar for The Acacia Strain before joining Bad Wolves. This showcases his versatility as a musician across different instruments and genres. This background demonstrates his ability to adapt to various musical styles and band dynamics.
The foundation for this collaboration may have been established earlier this year through positive interactions between Laskiewicz and Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke. Loudwire revealed that in February, Laskiewicz shared an Instagram post praising Radke’s support during a difficult show. He highlighted Radke’s encouraging and kind nature during challenging moments.
The band’s recent performances continue to draw massive crowds. This includes the show Laskiewicz referenced in his statement. These performances maintain Falling in Reverse’s reputation as a major draw in the rock and metal scene. His enthusiastic response to performing with the band suggests a positive integration into their established lineup and touring schedule.
