Last week, Guns N’ Roses had to cancel their September 9 St. Louis show. Since the cancellation of the show, a few rumors have spread among the fans. While the cause of the cancellation was shared to be due to ‘illness,’ the rumors suggest that the show was canceled for a different reason.

While addressing these rumors, Slash’s girlfriend, Meegan Hodges, recently discussed the situation on her Instagram story. In the post, she clarified that there is ‘someone who is sick’ and that the show will be rescheduled. Hodges shared:

“The truth is someone is sick and unable to perform. There’s no conspiracy… The show will be rescheduled in November. It’s a total bummer for everyone. These guys put on a 3-plus hour show. They are like superheroes. Give them a break. They can’t help when someone is too sick to perform. Wish them well.”

The rumor first rose on Reddit. A user wrote in a now-deleted post that Axl was mad the band was able to sell only 25,000 tickets out of 40,000 available. Along with Hodges, the band also shared an official statement about the cancelation. Axl Rose himself also shared a tweet to apologize to the fans.

The band clarified that the ticket holders will be able to use it for the rescheduled show, and those who won’t be able to attend the show will be refunded.

The band is still on the road for their remaining shows, and there seems to be no cancellation for their following shows.
