Anthrax Will Celebrate Their 40th Anniversary With Contributions Of Rob Trujillo, Corey Taylor, And More
Iconic heavy metal band Anthrax announced their 40th-anniversary celebration which consisted of the friends, music elite, and former members’ videos about their memories, thoughts, and feelings about the band from the band’s official Instagram account.
Over the past four decades, Anthrax released eleven studio albums that had gold and platinum certifications and they have been considered as one of the leaders of thrash metal. Also, they are part of the Big Four of the metal genre along with Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer.
Throughout the celebration, Each episode that honors albums of Anthrax will be released on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays till the official Anniversary Celebration on July, 18 with a great live stream event. The celebration started on May 3 with Episode 1 – Anthrax Begins. That week’s episodes will be dedicated to the ‘Fistful of Metal’ album.
In the episodes, former band members, colleagues, and friends will talk about the band. The series will consist of videos from Nergal, Norman Reedus, Michael Poulsen, Rob Zombie, Rob Trujillo, Roger Miret, Darryl McDaniels (Run DMC), Slash, Chuck D, Corey Taylor, Dave Grohl, Dave Mustaine, Gary Holt, Gene Simmons, Henry Rollins, John Carpenter, Kerry King, Mike Patton, Tom Morello and more. There will also be video clips from former Anthrax band members Dan Lilker, Dan Spitz, John Bush, Neil Turbin, and Rob Caggiano.

Starting Monday, May 3 with ‘Fistful of Metal’ week we’ll be posting new episodes of this doc every Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Spreading week starts May 10, Among starts May 17, Euphoria May 24, and so on until July 18, our 40th.
