Alissa White-Gluz excited fans by sharing new photos of her side project Blue Medusa jamming together in the studio on Instagram.
The post’s caption reveals the mood of the session and hints that new music or upcoming plans could be in the works.

Blue Medusa has quickly become one of the most closely watched projects in the metal scene since its formation earlier this year. White-Gluz first hinted at the band in February. She formally announced it on March 8, timing the reveal to coincide with International Women’s Day.
The lineup rounds out an all-female powerhouse, with guitarists Alyssa Day and Dani Sophia joining White-Gluz. Delaney Jaster and Alicia Vigil handle drums and bass for live performances. The band wasted no time putting music out into the world. It released its debut single “Checkmate” on March 20, followed by a second track, “Flying Monkey,” in May.
White-Gluz has said the band plans to release a string of singles before eventually committing to a full-length album. This gives fans a steady stream of new material while the group continues to develop its sound and chemistry in the studio.
With two singles already released and a full album still on the horizon, the latest studio photos suggest Blue Medusa is deep in the creative process. This gives fans reason to believe more new music isn’t far behind.
