Jourgensen explained what the end of Ministry will feel like for him and described what to expect from the last concert.

“I’m gonna be in my f*cking house before they even let people backstage,” Jourgensen said. “[American comedian and podcaster] Bill Burr will helicopter me home. And that night, a lot of people that have said that I’ve influenced them and all that, the whole night is gonna be a procession of just people saying goodbye…”

“But the last show’s gonna be a lot of people you know that are gonna be saying ‘hey’ and jamming with us, and it’ll be fun… It’ll be a fun last show.”

Ministry will end its run with a concert that celebrates the band’s legacy and brings together musicians and figures who have been part of its story. This final show marks the end of an era for the industrial rock pioneers.

The October 30, 2027 show at the Kia Forum caps a farewell campaign that will begin in April 2027 with the “Goodbye Europe” tour, featuring Die Krupps as special guests, followed by a full U.S. tour. The band will also perform shows across Australia, Europe and America as part of the extensive farewell tour supporting the final album.

“Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery)” was released on October 30, 2026 by Cleopatra Records as Ministry’s seventeenth and final studio album. The record marked a significant moment in the band’s history, featuring a guest appearance from multi-instrumentalist Paul Barker on a Ministry album for the first time in 23 years.

After more than four decades leading Ministry, Jourgensen said his ears are tired from music. This decision to retire follows previous health struggles that made him consider stepping away from the band, and he has stressed that this time the decision is final.
