Liam Gallagher Mocks His Brother Noel For Getting Banned

Former Oasis vocalist Liam Gallagher recently was asked about his thoughts on the six-month driving ban his brother got. The singer replied:

“He should be banned for life the little bumbaseed”

Liam’s unconventional choice of insult to mock Noel Gallagher is in line with their long history of public banter and playful insults directed at each other. In the past, their exchanges have often been characterized by witty and creative name-calling.

For instance, in a 2012 radio interview, Noel Gallagher referred to Liam as a ‘squeaky toy that swears a lot.’

In 2016, there was a brief period when Liam shared Noel’s photos on Twitter, captioned ‘Potato’ or ‘pouting potato.’

In 2017, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds incorporated a ‘scissors player’ into their ‘She Taught Me How To Fly’ performance. Later, Liam was asked whether any stationary would be played during his live performance in Newcastle, and he answered:

“I am afraid not but I do have somebody sharpening a pencil it sounds mega with a bit of reverb on it proper out there gear”

He also replied that ‘somebody peeling a banana‘ and ‘somebody sticking stickers in a book‘ would be with him on stage.

Noel Gallagher’s driving ban was due to a series of unpaid speed tickets. Despite Noel can’t drive, the vehicle was registered under his name, therefore he was held accountable.
