Current Queen frontman Adam Lambert was recently questioned if he ever thinks and takes precautions about getting thrown stuff while on stage.
In his recent interview with Elvis Duran Show, Ava Max’s latest incident, where she was slapped in the middle of her show, was mentioned. Lambert, when he learned the news, was shocked and then was asked if he thinks about these things happening to him, to which he replied with:
“No, but I’m ready to fight back.”
The frontman was asked about the times he got thrown drinks and the fans putting their drinks on stage and was assumed to be kicking them off of the stage. He confirmed doing so and said the following:
“I usually kick things off the stage. Just because I’m going to trip, I mean, that’s dangerous, you know. Get this off my freaking stage.”
Seemingly, Lambert, on one of his earlier shows, was thrown something that would not be seen in many similar incidents. He said:
“Well, early days, on the [American] Idol tour -this is a long time ago, but it’s a good memory- someone threw a full 12-inch dildo at me. Full twelve-inches. They flung it, and it just kind of, wop wop wop, and luckily, it was aimed low enough that it didn’t hit me in the face. But it hit me, bounced on the floor once, and then flopped there for a minute like a dead salmon. I looked down, and I was like, ‘What was that?’ and I’m like, ‘What?'”
“I kinda stopped for a second, and I was like, ‘Okay…’ I have a mixed feeling of horror, anger that someone threw this heavy thing at me, and then like, ‘This is hilarious. This is absolutely hilarious.'”
Similarly, just a few days before the Ava Max incident, Bebe Rexha had a similar experience. The pop singer was hit in the face with a phone, causing her to collapse and have a black eye.
