Adam Lambert Reacts To Cardi B Covering One Of His Songs

Queen’s touring lead singer Adam Lambert recently shared a video of Cardi B on his official Instagram stories. Apparently, the famous rapper sang one of Lambert’s hit songs named ‘Whataya Want from Me’ during her live stream, and the rocker wants to hear more from her.

Before gaining recognition in the rock scene as the lead vocalist of Queen, Adam Lambert rose to fame in 2009 after finishing as runner-up on the eighth season of American Idol. He released his debut album ‘For Your Entertainment‘ within the same year, which was a success as it debuted at No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200.

The album had several singles, including ‘Whataya Want from Me,’ for which Lambert received a Grammy nomination for ‘Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.’ The song also peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 while charting within the top 10 of the charts in thirteen countries.

While the song is one of the early achievements in Adam Lambert’s career, it’s undoubtedly one of the most significant ones. Therefore, many of his fans know ‘Whataya Want from Me’ and appreciate the track even to this day. It appears that one of those fans is the famous rapper Cardi B, who recently sang the song during one of her live streams.

After seeing Cardi B singing his 12-year-old song, Adam Lambert shared those moments in his official Instagram stories. Since Cardi B isn’t known for singing pop or rock songs, Lambert wanted to see more of this performance as the rapper sounded arguably good while singing a vocal-based song.

In the caption of his story, Lambert penned:

“I want the rest of the song Cardi. I’m living for this.”
