Adam Lambert Performs Metallica’s ‘Enter Sandman’

Queen’s current fronting member Adam Lambert performed Metallica’s ‘Enter Sandman’ song, which he share on his Instagram Stories.

‘Enter Sandman’ is one of the most iconic songs ever created by Metallica, released as the lead single and an opening track of the ‘Black Album’ back in 1991. Also, the single ranked No. 16 on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts, which is quite high when bearing in mind that it’s a metal track.

Recently, a new TV show named ‘Clash of the Cover Bands’ was announced. The show aims to bring together two bands from similar genres to compete against each other for a prize. Adam is one of the show’s judges, alongside Meghan Trainor and Ester Dean. Amid the celebration of this brand new show, the producers also dropped a new face filter on Instagram that gives you a random genre to cover a song.

To promote the show, Adam decided to use this filter and shared his performance on social media. When he randomly got metal genre, Adam’s first choice was ‘Enter Sandman.’ He picked the song without thinking about it, which implies that he is a big fan of Metallica.
