Accept‘s former bassist Peter Baltes sat down to have a chat with Dr. Music about his bucket list of things he wanted to do but never had the opportunity to go ahead with, which included his long-lost dream of just once taking over Cliff Williams‘ spot to get the chance to rock out with Angus Young.

The bassist who has been in the game, for many years and has left his 15-year tenure as the bassist of Accept in 2018 wouldn’t mind crossing off his bucket list item. Baltes shared that he would love to play ‘For Those About to Rock’ with AC/DC‘s Angus just once to get it out of his system.

Apparently, the musician lives relatively close to the guys in the band, so he’s hoping that if they are ever in a crutch and need him to come over and fill Williams’ place, even if it’s only for a track, he would be ready to take over and fit right in with the rest of the band.

Peter Baltes’ words about his bucket list of playing with Angus Young read:

“I want to play with Angus one time. I need to play ‘For Those About to Rock’ one time. Hey, you never know; if there ever are any problems or whatever I think I qualify for, I will go right in. I live here in Florida, Cliff’s [Williams] at about an hour south, and Brian [Johnson] lives about 20 minutes north.”

If there was ever the opportunity and an offer arose for Baltes to have his moment with Young, you can be sure that it would be a moment that ticked off the bassist’s desire to play with the icon. If there comes a time it actually happens, don’t be surprised, as Peter manifested it into existence!
