Wolfgang Van Halen Shares His Favorite Music Moment With Eddie Van Halen, ‘It’s A Moment I’ll Always Treasure’

Mammoth WVH founder Wolfgang Van Halen has taken his Twitter account to answer some questions of his fans both about his upcoming album and his relationship with his late father Eddie Van Halen and  opened up about the ‘favorite music moment with pops.’

As you may know, Wolf Van Halen has been following the footsteps of his father Eddie regarding his ongoing projects with his new band Mammoth WVH. Wolfgang has been working on his upcoming solo album for a while now. After losing his father almost three months ago, Wolf released the first single titled ‘Distance‘ from his highly-anticipated album to honor his father. The much-anticipated album of Mammoth WVH is planned to be released on June 11, 2021.

Recently on Twitter, Wolfgang invited his fans to join him for a Q&A session. While some of his fans asked questions about the details of Mammoth WVH’s upcoming album, some of them wanted to know more about his relationship with his father. A Twitter user asked Wolf to share his ‘favorite music moment with pops.’

In his response, Wolf stated that his favorite music moment with Eddie was the time he showed his father the Mammoth EVH album for the first time at the 5150 studio. Apparently, Eddie listened to his son’s album ‘smiling, bumping him every time he heard something he loved, and telling him to rewind stuff so he could hear it again.’ According to the young musician, that is a moment he will always tresure.

Here is what the Twitter user asked:

“What’s your favorite music moment with pops?

Here’s how Wolfgang Van Halen responded:

“Showing him the Mammoth WVH album for the first time in its entirety, just me and him blasting it up at 5150 (with him smiling, bumping me every time he heard something he loved, telling me to rewind stuff so he could hear it again, etc.) is a moment I’ll always treasure.”
