Wolf Van Halen Explains How He Feels About Facing Guns N’ Roses Fans In The Upcoming Tour

During his recent interview with Rolling Stone, Mammoth WVH founder Wolfgang Van Halen opened up about his thoughts and feelings about playing for the Guns N’ Roses fans for the first time in the upcoming North America tour.

As you might remember, Guns N’ Roses planned to start their latest tour in the 2020 summer but the tours were rescheduled to 2021 for the US and 2022 for Europe due to the restrictions of COVID-19. However, as the things started to get better around the world, the band announced the dates and places of their 2021 North America tour and made their fans very happy and excited about their shows.

GNR’s 2021 North America tour will start on July 31, 2021, in Pennsylvania and will end on October 3, 2021, in Florida. Then, the band will begin their Australia tour on November 6, 2021, at Metricon Stadium. The fans can purchase the tickets and VIP Packages from the official website of Guns N’ Roses. Wolfgang Van Halen’s Mammoth WVH will be the opening band for GNR.

In a recent interview, Wolfgang Van Halen reflected his excitement about his upcoming shows with Guns N’ Roses’ 2021 North America tour. He stated that he can’t wait to play for the band and meet with the band’s longtime fans who have been waiting for a GNR concert for a long time although he knows that they won’t be there for him.

Wolfgang shared his feelings saying that:

“Oh man, I still can’t believe it. It’s insane. Slash texted me when it was ready to go, and it was like, ‘See you out there, man. Looking forward to it.’ And even then it still didn’t seem real, so yeah, I’m freaking out about it, it’s going to be really fun, but damn, what a first tour.

It’s going to be interesting and fun facing an audience that’s not necessarily there for you, but it’s not like you’re opening for Van Halen either, you’re doing the standard thing, you have to win over this audience who likes rock. I’m so excited to go out there and just prove myself, to let my own music stand up on its own two feet and prove it to everyone and just go for it.”

Wolf Van Halen seems very excited about Mammoth WVH’s debut tour as the opening band of Guns N’ Roses. He mentioned that he is ready to prove his talent to the fans of GNR even though they won’t be there to watch his performance.
