Unfortunately, Hawkins passed away on March 25, 2022; even though they didn’t give any details about his death, it could be a drug-related heart condition. Following his death, countless musicians paid tribute to the late rocker since his passing was untimely, and he was regarded as one of the sweetest people in the rock music industry.

Previously, Stevie Nicks was among the names who made tributes to Hawkins shortly after his sudden death. Nicks posted a photo of them together and said farewell to her fellow musician by writing a sentimental poem under it. The musician recently appeared on stage at New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on May 7, 2022, after she was away from performing for a while because of the pandemic and didn’t forget the late drummer.

Nicks tributed Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Landslide’ for the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. The crowd accompanied her throughout the song. The moment she sang a track for the late musician created an emotional atmosphere for Nicks and the fans at the festival last Saturday.

Besides ‘Landslide’ for late Hawkins, Nicks sang her and Fleetwood Mac’s iconic songs, such as ‘Dreams,’ ‘Edge of Seventeen,’ and ‘Outside the Rain’ during the festival. The audience experienced all kinds of emotions at the singer’s concert. Both Nicks and the fans were happy to see the singer on stage again after almost three years. The audience immortalized the moments by taking videos of her performances. Nicks fulfilled the fans’ longing with her fantastic show at that festival.
