Steve Brown, guitarist from Trixter, has announced the formation of Always Jovi, a new tribute band celebrating the music of Bon Jovi. The announcement was shared on ALWAYSJOVI (@ALWAYSJOVIROCKS) on X.
The tribute band features Brown alongside Joey Cassata, Devon Marie, Kevin Humphris, Fred Gorhau, and Chris McCoy. Brown expressed his enthusiasm about the project, emphasizing both his personal connection to Bon Jovi and the band’s musical legacy.
“It’s been a long time in the making building this musical extravaganza… but now it’s finally ready for the world to see and hear,” Brown said. “A tribute band like no other to one of my biggest influences and inspirations… friends of mine too, but most importantly it’s a tribute to one of the greatest rock groups ever.”
Brown’s decision to lead Always Jovi reflects his deep roots in rock music and his long-standing career in the industry. He began his musical journey at just 12 years old when he founded Trixter in New Jersey, establishing himself as a pivotal figure in the hard rock scene, according to HeadRush FX. His extensive experience spans decades of studio recording, live performances, and collaborations with renowned acts across the rock genre.
Throughout his career, Brown has worked with some of the biggest names in rock music. Per Vinyl Writer Music, Brown has spent the last 40 years performing alongside artists including Dennis DeYoung, Def Leppard, and Ace Frehley. This extensive network of collaborations has positioned him as a natural choice to lead a tribute to one of rock’s most influential bands.
The Always Jovi lineup represents an all-star ensemble dedicated to delivering Bon Jovi’s classic hits with authenticity and energy. Eddie Trunk noted that the tribute band features Steve Brown on vocals and guitar, Joey Cassata on drums, Devon Marie on vocals and percussion, Kevin Humphris on bass and vocals, Fred Gorhau on guitar and vocals, and Chris McCoy on keyboards and vocals.
