The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian is expecting her first child with husband Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker. She announced the news at the Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles on June 16th.
Kourtney held up a sign reading, ‘Travis, I’m Pregnant,’ as seen in the video clip they posted in a joint Instagram. It seems that Kourtney’s announcement was a nod to Blink 182’s ‘All The Small Things’ music video, where similar signs are a part of the storyline.
Kourtney and Travis have been trying to have a baby together for a while now. The couple had been open about their pregnancy and IVF journey and the challenges it came with it. Kourtney gave her latest update about their journey during a recent episode of The Kardashians, where she said:
“We are officially done with IVF. We would love a baby more than anything, but I just really believe in what God has in store for us. If that’s a baby, then I believe that it will happen.”
She had already previously shared the ups and downs of the IVF process and how it affected both her physical and mental health on an episode of the ‘Not Skinny But Not Fat’ podcast last year:
“It really took a toll on my health and mentally. The hormones. The medication. You have to get put to sleep every time. I know it’s for so many people, but it’s just not for me.”
