Tony Dolan has announced plans for new Venom Inc. music. He revealed a target release date for the band’s upcoming material in an interview with Roppongi Rocks.

The frontman discussed the band’s creative process and timeline for their next releases. He explained the conceptual foundation behind their upcoming work.

“Yes, the writing’s been going for a while,” Dolan said. “I mean, when we did ‘There’s Only Black’, the idea was that album was gonna be in two parts, part one and part two. And [the lyrical concept] was beyond death, beyond what we see, beyond what our conceptions are of life or the universe or everything else.”

He elaborated on the philosophical themes driving the new material.

“And so I’d written it initially about Dante’s Inferno, but it was now obviously questioning life and our existence and why are we here, or what are we here for?” he continued. “And what happens after we’re not here? So it was about the spirit of life, spirit of energy. And so we’d written enough for two albums.”

Dolan then addressed the band’s current situation and production timeline.

“Of course, what’s happened happened, and we’re now in a position where, okay, we have the second album ready to go,” he said. “But with the new players, I wanted to obviously embellish them, embrace them and their styles. And so I’ve been doing some rewrites, and at the minute I think we’re about probably a mix away from the EP, which will be the lead-up to the new album, which should go out in March of 2026. So that’s the target.”

The musician concluded by sharing details about the current production status.

“Right now I’ve got the artist for the front cover, the back cover, I’ve got the producer, I’m doing the layouts, and we’re just playing around with the demos to see what we like,” Dolan said. “So, yeah, it’s kind of exciting. And it’s always nice to record new music, and you do get excited about that. But it feels like a new beginning. And it’s very positive at the moment.”

This announcement marks another chapter in Dolan’s extensive career in extreme metal. His career spans several decades and multiple influential bands.

Venom Inc.’s official website confirmed that Dolan, also known by his nickname “Demolition Man,” has a long history in metal. He started the band Atomkraft in 1979. His connection to the Venom legacy began when he joined the original band as bassist and vocalist in 1988. He recorded four albums before leaving in 1993.

Wikipedia reported that Venom Inc. itself was formed in 2015 when Dolan and other former Venom members reunited. The band evolved from the earlier band Prime Evil and later Mpire of Evil. The band represents a continuation of the classic Venom sound with members who were integral to the band’s evolution during the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The upcoming releases will add to Venom Inc.’s growing discography. The band has already established itself as a legitimate continuation of the Venom legacy. Metal Express Radio noted that the band has maintained the aggressive sound and dark themes that made Venom influential in the development of black metal and extreme metal genres.

Dolan’s reference to “new players” reflects recent lineup changes within Venom Inc. The band continues to evolve while maintaining its core identity rooted in the classic Venom sound that helped define extreme metal in the 1980s.

The EP is expected to serve as a precursor to the full album release scheduled for March 2026.
