Being the child of a celebrity might have more than a few perks if you choose to look on the brighter side of things. However, it may also come with the disadvantages that you’ll be accused of nepotism and be exposed to numerous comparisons. There might also be a possibility that your parents’ undesired footage might be lying around somewhere for the whole world to see. So, being the child of Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson wasn’t the easiest thing to be on earth for Brandon Lee.

Well, you can imagine how tough it was for Brandon as a kid to feel like everybody knew about all his family’s dirty secrets. Of course, it is nothing other than the infamous sex tape of Tommy and Pam. The younger Lee opened up about the topic during his appearance on his mother’s Netflix documentary, ‘Pamela, a Love Story.’

Lee recalled how he would get defensive and ‘ready to fight’ whenever someone would mention his mom and how challenging it was for him to be constantly tested by his parents’ undesired public history. So, even with all the benefits, fame, and undoubtedly wealth, being the son of the ever eccentric Mötley Crüe drummer and an actress was tough for Brandon.

“When I was a kid, I thought everyone knew things about me and my family that they never should’ve known,” said Brandon as he recalled the period when how he would believe every stranger he’d met would know all about his family. “And, like everyone had this dirty little secret about my family. I just remember in school, if anyone ever brought up my mom, I was very quick to fight.”

So, growing up wasn’t the easiest thing for Brandon to handle when his parents’ sex tape would surface now and then, and he couldn’t help but assume that everybody, from teachers to his friends and total strangers, probably knew all about it.
