Tommy Lee Says He Talked With Taylor Hawkins A Few Hours Before His Death

Following the sudden death of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee took his Instagram account and revealed that he had spoken to him a few hours before he died.

Taylor Hawkins tragically passed away on March 25 while touring with Foo Fighters. The band continued their South American tour and was scheduled to perform in Bogotá, Colombia. The authorities stated that he was suffering from chest pain, and emergency services were called, but unfortunately, he was unresponsive to immediate aid.

According to the latest reports, the late drummer had different substances in his body when found dead. However, his official cause of death has not been revealed yet. Hawkins’ tragic passing left the music world and the millions of fans heartbroken. Many artists such as Brian May, Ozzy Osbourne, Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Nikki Sixx, Travis Barker, and all others paid emotional tributes to Hawkins.

Tommy Lee also shared a touching post on Instagram and reflected his sadness over the drummer’s untimely death. Lee revealed that he had just talked to Taylor Hawkins a few hours before his death. The musician was in his hotel room in Colombia waiting for the Foo Fighters concert when they spoke. Tommy Lee wrote that he still can’t believe the heartbreaking news is real. He also emphasized how much he loved Hawkins and how hard it was for him to deal with his passing.
