Tommy Lee Recalls Dave Grohl And Taylor Hawkins’ Worst Video Idea Involving Him

Tommy Lee from Mötley Crüe recently shared a video on Instagram that features Taylor Hawkins and Dave Grohl talking about an ‘interesting project’ involving him.

Taylor Hawkins was not only respected as a musician but also had many close friends in the rock world. Thus, his unexpected passing devastated many names, and tributes were made following the tragic incident. One of the names Taylor’s passing affected a lot was Mötley Crüe’s drummer, Tommy Lee. It is even known that he was one of the names that Hawkins spoke to a few hours before his death.

To pay tribute to his friend, Tommy Lee attended the second show of the ‘Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts,’ which took place on September 27 and featured many prominent names, such as Black Sabbath, Metallica, Rush, Queen, and Van Halen. The concert was full of emotional moments, and Taylor Hawkins’ memory was honored with an unforgettable night.

After paying tribute on stage, Tommy Lee recently shared a video on his Instagram account featuring Taylor Hawkins and Dave Grohl talking. In the video, when Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins were asked about their worst idea ever, the duo spoke about the ‘interesting’ project that included Tommy Lee. According to the project, Tommy Lee would meet Sebastian Bach, and the pair would say only two words, ‘dude‘ and ‘f*ck,’ to one another.

The conversation between Grohl and Hawkins in Tommy Lee’s recent Instagram post follows:

“Grohl: Taylor and I have an idea for a skip, which is Tommy Lee, Mötley Crüe, meeting Sebastian Bach from Skid Row for the first time. And they only say two words: Dude and f*ck for ten minutes [they imitate the scene and say dude and f*ck one after another].

Hawkins: Actually, probably get enough ‘dudes’ and ‘f*cks’ from both of them off YouTube and just make a compilation without even having to do anything, could be a remix.”

The video is originally from one of the Foo Fighters fan accounts, and Tommy Lee just reposted it without adding a caption or commenting on it. Hearing this amusing idea must have made Tommy Lee feel bittersweet. Judging by the comments below, it looks like fans had a lot of fun with the idea, too.
