Tommy Lee Reacts To The Fans’ Complaints About Mötley Crüe Shows

Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee addressed the claims of indecent exposure during the band’s shows through his official Twitter account.

Throughout their four-decade-long career, Mötley Crüe has built a reputation as the most notorious band in the world. So, when Tommy Lee asked the crowd to expose their genitals during a recent San Francisco Bay Area show, many Crüe fans did what he asked. However, not everybody in the audience was pleased about this.

Crüe’s fan Juan Alvarez was shocked to witness all this, and he shared his displeasure with ABC7 News. He said he was surprised to see nude people on the big screen and around him. He also claimed that there were children among the crowd who were exposed to this sight. Alvarez argued that the nudity at the show could be considered as indecent exposure and that he would file a police report.

After Alvarez’s statement, Tommy Lee replied to the allegations and shared the fans’ interview with the news channel. The drummer exclaimed that the world had become too soft and the Mötley Crüe shows has never been about being decent. In the video he shared, Lee added a voiceover to address Alvarez’s claims and explained that the band has been doing this for years.

The video caption stated:

“The world is too soft! Been doing this sh*t for years, Juan! Mötley Crüe concerts aren’t PG and never have been! Grow the f*ck up!”

In the voiceover, Lee exclaimed:

“Yo Juan, I got a question for you… What did you expect to see at a Mötley Crüe concert, dude? We’ve been doing this for f*cking ever. Jesus Christ, you f*cking p*ssy.”

Tommy Lee then shared another tweet about the incident and added that to complain about seeing private parts at a Mötley Crüe performance was similar to complaining about seeing a cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory. It’s been a usual part of their shows as the band had been doing the act for the better part of their career.

The drummer wrote:

“Complaining about seeing tits at a Mötley Crüe concert is like complaining about seeing cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory.”
