Tommy Lee Announces His Upcoming Live Performance With DJ Aero

In a recent Instagram post, Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee has announced that he will be performing live with DJ Aero from his rap-metal band Methods of Mayhem.

Tommy Lee is known for being the founding member and the long-time drummer of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. Apart from that, he has also formed a rap-metal band named Methods of Mayhem in 1999 when he had a temporary break from Mötley Crüe. The band’s self-titled debut album was also released in 1999, which was certified gold. Methods of Mayhem later disbanded in 2000, but in March 2009, Lee announced that he was reforming the band again. Later on, the band released their second studio album titled ‘A Public Disservice Announcement’ on September 21, 2010.

Tommy Lee also toured as an EDM DJ with DJ Aero, who is Methods of Mayhem’s DJ. The duo began DJing together in 2000, calling themselves Electro Mayhem and touring on clubs. They debuted as DJs at Ultra Music Festival in 2004 and accompanied Deadmau5 in his 2011 Meowington Hax tour while releasing two singles titled ‘Static’ and ‘LFO Tool’ through Deadmau5’s Mau5trap label. In 2013, Lee also collaborated with DJ Aero on the ‘#MSND’ EP.

According to his recent Instagram post, Tommy Lee has announced that he and DJ Aero will head to Chicago to perform live at Afterlife Music Hall on August 6, 2021. Lee also included the official poster of the live event in his post.

Tommy Lee’s Instagram post read:

“Dj Aero and I are heading to Chicago! Afterlife Live Music Hall, August 6th, 2021.”
