Tom Morello Recalls The First Time He Played With Bruce Springsteen, ‘It Was Such An Honor’

Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello recalled the time when he was on the stage with Bruce Springsteen by sharing a new post on his official Instagram page.

In the caption, Tom stated that no one could have ever predicted the electricity and synergy between Tom and Bruce in their performance, even Tom himself couldn’t do it.

As Tom mentioned that it was such an honor for him to be an ally of Bruce’s primary backing band, E Street Band, he also revealed that this was the first time he played with the legendary guitarist.

Additionally, Tom shared a 30-second-long video from the show where Tom was killing the solo, and Bruce was having lots of fun while playing the rhythms behind his solo.

Here is what Tom Morello captioned:

“On this date in 2008 in Anaheim, CA I played with Bruce Springsteen for the first time.

No one, myself included, could have predicted the electric, apocalyptic synergy that manifested in that room that night. It began a six year stint in which it was such an honor to be an ally of the great E Street Band.”
