The Pretty Reckless Cancel Shows After Taylor Momsen Tested Positive For COVID
The Pretty Reckless members shared terrible news about the Detroit, Milwaukee, and Kansas City show. They announced a member had tested positive for Covid on the group’s official Instagram account. Taylor Momsen also took to Instagram to show a positive Covid test.
In 2021, The Pretty Reckless planned to go on tour for their most recent album ‘Death by Rock and Roll.’ However, the pandemic altered the course of live shows, and The Pretty Reckless was one of the bands that had to postpone the dates until 2022.
Alongside the rescheduled dates for the band’s ‘Death by Rock and Roll Tour’ 2022, they were going to tour with Halestorm on the ‘Summer Tour 2022’ with Lilith Czar and The Warning. Though they have been following strict rules to protect themselves from COVID-19, the band and their lead singer gave devastating news to their fans.
Recently, the band announced that vocalist Taylor Momsen had tested positive for Covid. They said they were following CDC guidelines to keep everyone safe and would not be able to perform in Detroit, Milwaukee, and Kansas City. They added that they would be back on stage as soon as they were better.
The band’s IG post read:
“Despite our best efforts, COVID finally bit. We could not wait to get back on the road with our friends in Halestorm but wait; we would have to. We’re following CDC guidelines, and we’ll be missing this weekend’s shows in Detroit, Milwaukee, and Kansas City. We hope to feel better soon and will make it out to the very first venue we can, so stay tuned for time updates here.”
