Fans immediately responded with backlash. They referenced Lambesis’s controversial past involving domestic violence allegations and animal abuse.

“I guess this management is cool with hiring a hit man to kill your wife, Animal abuse, and spousal abuse,” one fan commented on the announcement.

Another fan voiced skepticism about Lambesis’s comeback. “No one’s willing to give that guy another shot after kicking a dog on film and loosing two full bands! That’s a retarded decision!”

Lambesis continues his latest attempt to rebuild As I Lay Dying’s presence in the music industry. Public criticism regarding his past actions remains strong.

The new management deal emerges after a particularly turbulent period for the band and its controversial frontman.

A report from Consequence revealed a complete lineup change in 2024. All members left the group, including longtime guitarist Phil Sgrosso and newer additions Ryan Neff, Nick Pierce, and Ken Susi. They cited moral and safety concerns for their departure.

The band released their album “Through Storms Ahead” in November 2024. The PRP covered this development despite the ongoing turmoil.

Lambgoat documented Lambesis’s other musical ventures. He released an album titled “Purify and Refine” in 2023 with his side project Born Through Fire. The project featured Joey Alarcon of Wolves at the Gate.

The recent management signing demonstrates Lambesis’s commitment to continuing As I Lay Dying as a solo project. This decision comes despite significant challenges and ongoing public criticism about his past actions.
