The Haunted Announce First New Album In Eight Years, Drop New Song ‘Warhead’

Century Media Records has revealed The Haunted’s upcoming album on Instagram.

“This is the first single of our new album ‘Songs Of Last Resort,'” Marco Aro, vocalist of The Haunted, said. “The song is called ‘Warhead’ and it’s an aggressive statement about the absolute horrors of the world we now have to live in!”

The new song ‘Warhead’ signals the band’s return to the metal scene after eight years. Fans can now listen to the track on YouTube.

The announcement represents a significant milestone for the Swedish metal band’s return to the music industry.

MetalSucks revealed that Century Media Records will release ‘Songs Of Last Resort’ on May 30, 2025. This release ends the band’s eight-year recording hiatus.

Wildfire Music noted that the band’s previous studio album, ‘Exit Wounds’ from 2014, marked a significant shift in their sound.

The PRP reported the completion of instrumental recording sessions for ‘Songs Of Last Resort.’ This indicates the final stages of production are underway.

The release of ‘Warhead’ and its music video offers fans their first glimpse of new material since The Haunted’s extended break. Metal enthusiasts worldwide have expressed growing anticipation for the album.
