The Cure’s Robert Smith Collaborates With CHVRCHES For A New Song, ‘How Not To Drown’

The indie-pop band, CHVRCHES revealed that they collaborated with The Cure lead vocalist and songwriter, Robert Smith for their new song entitled ‘How Not to Drown’ from their upcoming fourth studio album on the band’s official Twitter account.
Earlier in 2020, CHVRCHES announced that they were working on their fourth studio album entitled ‘Screen Violence.’ It was later revealed that the album would be released on August 27, 2021. The album’s lead single, ‘He Said She Said’ was released on 19 April 2021, and the second single, ‘How Not to Drown’ featuring The Cure lead vocalist, Robert Smith was released on June 2, 2021.
As you may remember, previously Robert Smith collaborated with different bands and musicians as his side projects. He performed in ‘Please’ which belonged to Paul Hartnoll’s 8.58 project and also Smith contributed to The Twilight Sad’s single, ‘There’s a Girl in the Corner.’
Recently, it was announced that Smith teamed up with CHVRCHES in their newest single. Robert Smith’s and CHVRCHES’ ‘How Not to Drown’ music video will be released on June 4, 2021. The band announced the release of their newest song and also the premiere party of their song on their Twitter account. The party will start on June 3 at 9:40 am PT, 12:40 pm ET, and 5:40 pm in the UK on CHVRCHES’ official Youtube channel.
