In a recent video she posted on Instagram, Ted Nugent’s wife Shemane, criticized the Netflix film, ‘Leave the World Behind,’ for excessive Satanic imagery.
Shemane started her words, saying:
“Why would Barack and Michelle Obama produce a movie that has so many Satanic references in it? I’m going live here. This is gonna be quick, but I’d love to hear your comments if you have seen the movie ‘Leave the World Behind.’ It’s kind of funny I posted something yesterday about it, and it’s kind of funny at this point because they are telling us what they are about to do and that’s part of what we’ve been talking about for the couple of years, what so many other people are talking about.”
Initial Reactions And Viewer Comments

She continued, sharing her first impressions about the movie:
“If you wanna find out more, check out my stories today because they’re gonna go away, but I’ve reposted other people’s comments and stories that go into much more detail about what I’m about to go into this movie, ‘Leave the World, Behind.’ First of all, I took it here for the team [laughing]. I’m being super sarcastic. Don’t watch it. I fast-forwarded it through…”
Symbolism And Hidden Messages In The Film

Shemane then went on to explain the symbolism in ‘Leave the World Behind’:
“There is a lot of foreshadowing and symbolism from the number 666 to the young boy wearing a shirt which is complied and the young girl, the daughter, has a shirt that says NASA on it. Guys, at this point, there are too many coincidences, and if you know anything about Maui, if you’ve gone through the rabbit hole, you’re wondering why there are so many homes with blue roofs that didn’t burn in Maui.”
She added, detailing the messages she noticed in the film:
“There is a lot of blue in this movie, ‘Leave the World Behind.’ Everything is blue. If you know, you know. I took it here for the team. So you don’t have to, but if you do watch, I used to love Julia Roberts, and the acting is… if it was anything other than A-list actors in this movie, you would not watch it. It is very, very slow. Very boring, but there are so many hidden messages, and I think that’s what the most important thing is with what’s going on in this movie.”
‘Leave the World Behind,’ adapted from Rumaan Alam’s 2020 novel, is a disaster movie about two families united during a vague national crisis. It centers on the growing tension and fear among Amanda and Clay (played by Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke) and G.H. and Ruth (portrayed by Mahershala Ali and Myha’la Herrold) as they confront a potential apocalypse.
