Ted Nugent Says Jimi Hendrix Offered Him His Drugs, And Here’s How Ted Reacted To Jimi

Rock veteran Ted Nugent opened up about drugs, smoking, and alcohol, once again, and revealed how he stayed away from all of those during a Facebook Live with his son Rocco on February 2, in addition to revealing a few musicians, including Jimi Hendrix, who offered him drugs, however, Nugent turned them away.

As many of you know, Ted Nugent is widely known for not doing drugs, smoking, and drinking alcohol, furthermore he, on several occasions, revealed that he has never tried any of them since according to Nugent, all three of them takes his conscious and wish to live his life fully.

During a Facebook Live, Ted Nugent revealed that while he does not know the difference between a person who would fall for drugs, alcohol, smoking and who would not, however, stated that some people find them as an easy way out from their lives, while some don’t, just like Nugent.

Here is what he said:

“So what’s the difference between a person that falls for that versus a person who defies that? I haven’t the faintest idea. Because I think God gave all of us everything we need.

Some people look for an easy way out, and some people don’t. I didn’t. I think it was just shit luck. ‘Cause my brothers and sisters smoked and drank, and they didn’t even surround themselves with goofball rock and roll dirtbags. I did.”

In addition to this, Ted Nugent revealed a few famous musician fellows of his who offered him drugs on several occasions including Who’s late drummer Keith Moon, AC/DC late lead vocalist Bon Scott, and the legend himself, Jimi Hendrix also offered Nugent drugs.

“Jimi Hendrix offered me his drugs, and I said no. John Belushi offered me his drugs; I said no. Keith Moon offered me his drugs and alcohol, and I said no. Bon Scott offered me his drugs and alcohol, and I said no. I said no to everybody.”
