Ted Nugent Might Feel Sad About Everyone Ignoring His Super Bowl Suggestion

The 2024 Super Bowl will take place very soon on February 11, and Ted Nugent is upset that he didn’t get a ‘real’ Super Bowl halftime show.

The rocker shared a picture on his X account, mockingly referring to the Super Bowl halftime shows. Nugent, in a meme format that was popular back in the 2010s, shared a picture of himself with the following words:

“Whenever you’re ready for a real halftime show, give me a call.”

In response to his comments, some users posted critical remarks, with one person asserting that the reason he wasn’t invited for a halftime show was due to his purported lack of showmanship:

“Learn how to put on a show first.”

One stated that his halftime days were already over:

“Saw a clip of your latest gig down at the border with the ‘freedom trucker army from God’ or whatever… Sadly, I think your halftime days are over.”

Another wrote:

“They want folks to watch. Not switch off. How many times can you sing Cat Scratch Fever.”

Was Nugent Ever Invited To Super Bowl?

Well, the short answer is no. However, some individuals wanted Nugent to be a part of the Super Bowl, with one being the American politician Ronny Jackson.

The 2023 Super Bowl commenced with a rendition of ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing,’ recognized as the Black National Anthem, performed by Sheryl Lee Ralph, accompanied by an all-female pilot team handling Navy flyover duties. This didn’t sit well with some segments of the right-wing. Notably, White House physician and current Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX) expressed his disapproval of the halftime show without providing specific reasons. He took to X and stated:

“Ted Nugent would’ve been a MUCH BETTER halftime performer!!”

Usher is chosen as the performer of the Super Bowl 2024.
