Ted Nugent recently appeared on The Balance with Eric Bolling and shared his thoughts about the five people who got sentenced recently for the January 6th Capitol Riot. The guitarist claimed that there is a two-tier anti-justice system against these Americans who practiced their First Amendment rights.

Here’s what Ted said about Democrats and the outcome of the prosecutions of the five men:

“We have video footage of terrorism, and the Democrats came to their aid while they were persecuting these guys who were just performing their first-amendment rights, their god-given individual First Amendment guaranteed rights. These are painful times. I got to tell you, it’s rampant.”

Nugent also told Bolling about a moment he shared with a veteran that further highlighted the current state of America. He added:

“This old guy that I shared the campfire with who dragged his buddies off the battlefield for their constitutional oath. They cry tears of blood. They are so hurt that their buddies died for this. This is the manifestation of total cultural abandonment in America today.”

The rocker pointed out that everyone he crossed paths with is angry with where the country is heading by saying:

“I know I’m just a guitar player, but I’m reiterating the pulse that I hear everywhere I go. People are scared, people are angry, and people are really fed up.”

When the attack against the U.S. Congress first happened in 2021, the rioters were reported as supporters of former President Donald Trump. However, Ted had shared on a YouTube livestream that those people were not Trump supporters. Instead, he said:

“We know that the January 6th event at the Capitol in Washington, D.C., those weren’t Trump supporters destroying stuff and breaking windows and being vandals. Those were Antifa and Black Lives Matter wearing Trump shirts and hats. I wanna be on record right now for that. Insurrection my ass.”
