Ted Nugent Admits That He Was Afraid Of Dying From Coronavirus
After being tested COVID-19 positive, Ted Nugent stated that he got really scared of dying due to the coronavirus during an episode of his Ted Nugent’s Spirit Campfire Internet show.
Other than his career as a rock musician, Nugent has drawn too much attention with his being a conservative Trump supporter and his denial of the global pandemic. He said that the pandemic is a delusion and no one can be forced to get vaccinated and wear masks.
After his anti-masker and vaxxer statements, Ted Nugent announced that he was COVID-19 positive defined the disease as ‘Chinese shit’ on a Facebook Live stream on April 19. Then he accepted the existence of the virus but emphasized that it wasn’t as big and dangerous as people thought.
On Ted Nugent’s Spirit Campfire Internet show, Nugent talked about what he had been through after the diagnose. He said that he had unbearable headaches and he felt a lot of pain in his whole body. Till the people came and rescue him, he thought that this was the end for him. Although he defined himself as a tough guy, he was suffered too much and was afraid of dying because of the virus.
Here’s what he said:
“I never am a sympathy guy. I’m a tough guy. I’d rather err on the side of ‘tough guy.’ Five or six days ago, it was really scary. I didn’t think I was gonna make it. I literally couldn’t function for about 20 hours, and then they came and they rescued me… I’ve never been so scared in all my life.
I’ve had the flu three or four times in my life. I’m in bed and I’m giving birth to swampage — I mean, I go through six boxes of Kleenex an hour. Okay, that’s the flu, and you’ve got a headache and you’ve got body aches. Maybe you’ve got some diarrhea and just overall pain.
I don’t struggle to express myself. The six-foot-two, 225-pound headache this time was like nothing I have ever experienced. I mean, from the tip of my toes to the top of my hair, I literally was dizzy and weak and struggled to get up to go to the bathroom. And I would lay in the bathtub a couple of times a day with the water as hot as I could take it just to divert.”
