Taylor Swift Breaks All Time Vinyl Sales Record With ‘Evermore’ In Only Three Days
The iconic singer and songwriter Taylor Swift has recently broken the record for the one-week vinyl album sales with her ‘Evermore‘ album which took the place of Jack White’s second studio album, ‘Lazaretto,’ only three days after its vinyl release.
As you may remember, last year, Taylor Swift broke the Guinness World Record as the being woman who had the shortest gap between new number-one albums on the U.S. Billboard 200. On July 24, 2020, Swift released her eighth studio album, ‘Folklore.’ Its songs reached the top ten on different charts all around the world and it won a Grammy Award as ‘Album of the Year.’
Only five months after her eighth studio album, Swift released her ninth studio album entitled ‘Evermore’ on December 11, 2020. Her latest album also hit the charts of nine different countries and it was sold millions of copies in its first week. The tracks started to be released on the streaming platforms in January 2021 and they remained very popular.
After many months of the digital release of ‘Evermore,’ its vinyl version sales became available on May 28, 2021, because of the length of the production process of the album. In only three days, Taylor Swift broke all-time vinyl sale records with ‘Evermore’ by taking the place of Jack White’s ‘Lazaretto.’
