Taylor Momsen recently shared a post on Instagram showing her working on her fitness to prepare to record a new album.
The singer included a series of photos from her workouts and wrote:
“Getting ready to rock 2024. Next stop, recording studio.”
Fan Anticipation And Queries

Some users wanted to know when the new record would come. One of them wrote:
“How far along is the new album now? Will we hear something ‘soon’?”
Another one asked, again wondering about the upcoming album:
“Do we have any clue about the new music style?”
The Beginnings Of A New Album

In a May chat with Ronni Hunter from 99.7 The Blitz radio at the Sonic Temple festival in Columbus, Ohio, Momsen confirmed that she and her band have started working on their next album, which follows their 2021 release’ Death By Rock And Roll.’ The vocalist said:
“We’re in a great headspace. We’re just having fun with it and wrapping up the tour cycle of ‘Death By Rock And Roll’ with the last few shows. We’re going out with [the Foo Fighters] in June, which I’m so stoked about. And then new record — and it’s next chapter. We’ve already kind of started it… We’ve gotten into a studio; we’ve stepped foot into a studio. So that’s saying something for us.”
She also talked about when new music from the Pretty Reckless would be available, explaining:
“I don’t know how long it’s gonna take. I have no dates for anyone or any more insight other than that. But we have walked into a studio, and we are super, super excited.”
Latest Release From The Band

Last November, the band put out a new set of music called ‘Other Worlds’ through Fearless Records. This release featured the group’s first official acoustic tracks, surprising covers, and various new interpretations.
Taylor first covered Elvis Costello’s ‘(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding’ during a live stream during the COVID period. Matt Cameron joined her for a fresh take on Soundgarden’s ‘Halfway There.’ Alain Johannes played guitar for their version of Chris Cornell’s ‘The Keeper,’ and David Bowie’s pianist, Mike Garson, contributed to their rendition of ‘Quicksand.’
