Taylor Momsen has announced The Pretty Reckless’s upcoming album and revealed 2026 North American tour dates. She shared the news through a series of posts on Instagram.

The announcement came after the band shared cryptic teasers on social media over recent days. This built anticipation for the major reveal.

“And so it begins… the dawn of a new era. Our new album, ‘Dear God’, out June 26th,” Momsen said. “Our new single, ‘When I Wake Up,’ available Midnight. More to come…”

In a follow-up announcement, the singer provided additional details about the release and tour plans.

“New single ‘When I Wake Up’ out now,” she continued. “New album ‘Dear God’ out June 26. The ‘Dear God’ World Tour goes on sale on Friday, March 20. Head to link in bio for presale info.”

The band has also dropped their new single alongside the album announcement. Presale information for the tour will become available soon.

This marks a significant milestone for The Pretty Reckless as they prepare to release their fifth studio album. They will also embark on an extensive world tour.

Kerrang! reported that “Dear God” will be released via Fearless Records and serves as the follow-up to their 2021 album “Death By Rock And Roll.” The 14-track album includes last year’s single “For I Am Death” alongside the newly released “When I Wake Up.”

Momsen has described the new single’s deeper meaning. Louder Sound noted that “When I Wake Up” tells “the story of a dream becoming a nightmare. When a life of excess leads you on a rollercoaster that is doomed to crash but you just can’t see it. It’s a good time…” The track was produced by Momsen herself alongside Ben Phillips.

The Dear God World Tour will kick off in North America in July 2026. It features stops at major venues across the country. Vice confirmed dates include performances at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre on July 17, Austin’s ACL Live at The Moody Theater on July 23, Los Angeles’ The Wiltern on July 31, and Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium on September 3.

The tour will extend internationally with UK dates scheduled for December 2026. This includes a performance at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on December 1 and Glasgow’s Barrowlands on December 3. Additional European stops are planned for Bristol, Wolverhampton, and Manchester. Fans who preorder the album will gain access to artist presale tickets starting March 17 at 10 AM local time. General ticket sales begin March 20 at 10 AM local time through Ticketmaster.
