Is Stryper frontman Michael Sweet thinking of a Lady Gaga collaboration?

Sweet took to Instagram to share a picture of the singer with a Stryper shirt on.

“Is Stryper Lady Gaga approved? It appears so,” the rocker wrote in the caption of his post. “Maybe we’ll do a song with her someday soon. I know you all would love that.”

While some fans hated the idea that Stryper would collaborate with a pop singer, some really loved it since she ‘loves metal.’

“Her dad listened to you and all the other 80’s Metal Bands! He taught her well lol,” a user wrote. “Some people’s comments are so judgemental, I think she has an amazing voice,” another added.

It wouldn’t be a surprising collaboration since Lady Gaga has already collaborated with different rockers over the years. She released a song with Marilyn Manson, performed with Metallica, and Rolling Stones. She was even spotted wearing a bunch of different band shirts like Iron Maiden and Slayer.
