Stone Gossard Clarifies If Pearl Jam Is Working On A New Album And Shares Tour Plans
During a recent appearance on Audio Ink Radio, Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard talked about the future projects of the band and the possibility of the new album.
In the conversation, Stone mentioned the coronavirus outbreak and hoped that even though they don’t know where or when it is going to be, they will be on the stage until in fall or early winter.
While saying that they have got lots of works to do, Stone also revealed if we could wait for a new studio album even after the release of their eleventh studio album Gigaton last year.
Stone pointed out that they always record new stuff and writing songs, and because of that, it won’t be surprising to see a new album from the band. However, there are no plans for Pearl Jam right now, and they don’t know what to do according to Stone.
Here is what Stone Gossard said:
“Pearl Jam will definitely be back. I think we’ll probably be on the road. I mean, my hope is that we’ll start playing some shows in the fall or early winter.
I don’t know what they’re gonna be or when they’re gonna be, but that’s my hope. And after that, we’ve got a lot of makeup shows to do. We’ve got a lot of work to do.
We’re always kind of recording and doing stuff. So, it wouldn’t surprise me if we did some more recording, but there’s no plans as of now. I have no idea what we’re gonna do, but I’ll be ready to go when I get the call.”
