In a recent interview with Razor Wisconsin, Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox shared her enthusiasm about touring with Loathe.
“Loathe is truly my favorite metal band. I love them. I’m so happy for all their success,” LaPlante said. “Honestly, it’s probably annoying to them. I’ve gone on tour with them a couple times as a support band. They did a few shows with us a couple years ago. They’re all trying to get ready for their show. They’re doing their own work and always writing music and stuff.”
“They’re all just trying to chill out and live their lives,” she continued. “I’ll be like, ‘Hey guy,s you having a nice day we writing some music sure like to hear it.’ They’re probably going to have security outside their door to make sure that I don’t come in and annoy them. They’re my favorite band. I’m essentially getting paid to hang out with my favorite band. I get to watch them every single night. I’m very excited.”
Both bands are now preparing for a significant touring collaboration.
Loudwire revealed that the ‘Tsunami Sea’ North American tour will begin on April 3 in Dallas, Texas. The lineup includes Dying Wish and Gel as supporting acts.
Blabbermouth highlighted the tour’s connection to Spiritbox’s sophomore album. ‘Tsunami Sea’ was released on March 7, 2025.
Palechord noted this extensive tour as one of the most ambitious collaborative efforts between the two bands. The performances will span multiple cities across North America.
The upcoming tour strengthens the foundation of their previous successful collaborations. Fans will witness the genuine camaraderie between these two influential modern metal acts.
