Slipknot fans recently made jokes on X about Corey Taylor’s appearance, saying he resembles a middle-aged lesbian. His wife, Alicia, joined in on the chat with an equally humorous remark.
Alicia responded to a post featuring a photo of Taylor holding a heart-shaped artwork at a convention. The caption read, “Someone said Corey looks like a middle-aged lesbian, and I agree.” She replied, “That’s MY middle-aged lesbo. Thankyouverymuch.”
Corey and Alicia have been married since October 2019. They first met when Alicia was a cheerleader for the Atlanta Falcons. Their connection grew stronger when her band, Cherry Bombs, toured with Slipknot.
Alicia has often defended her husband and Slipknot online. Last November, she mocked Gen Z for attempting to cancel the band over the lyrics to ‘Disasterpiece.’ The month before, she criticized people who spread rumors about Taylor’s relationship with his eldest daughter.
Beyond defending each other, the couple also expresses their support publicly. Last January, Corey praised Alicia’s performances with Motionless In White on Instagram, writing, “I love being able to watch my wife shine. Every night, she kills. She’s amazing and I’m so grateful to see it. L’adorilust, mi Bruja Roja.”
Slipknot is preparing for a world tour starting next week. They will perform in Australia and New Zealand until March 11, then continue with shows in Sweden, Germany, France, and other European countries.
