Slash Plays New Guns N’ Roses Song During The Recent Soundcheck

Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist Slash recently posted a video from his rehearsal for their concert in Wrigley Field on his official Instagram account. In the video, the guitarist played a track from the band’s brand new record and asked GN’R fans to guess the song’s name.

As you probably know, Guns N’ Roses released their latest and sixth studio album entitled ‘Chinese Democracy’ on November 23, 2008. Before the album’s creation process, the band went through several line-up changes after guitarists Slash and Gilby Clarke, bassist Duff McKagan, and drummer Matt Sorum left the band due to the increasing tensions.

Therefore, GN’R fans have been waiting for a long time to get a new album featuring the band’s original members. Although years have passed since their reunion, none of the members has given the good news about their upcoming album yet. However, they released a single named ‘Absurd’ on August 6, which made fans think it could be a track from the new album,

In his recent Instagram post, Slash shared footage from their soundcheck and teased the new unreleased GN’R record. When he asked for its name, most of his followers answered saying ‘Hard Skool.’ The guitarist also posted the video on TikTok, and it has received thousands of likes and comments. The song’s official release date is unknown for now.

Slash’s IG post read:

“Name of the Song?”
