Nickelback announced an extensive world tour in support of their forthcoming eleventh album, Everything Under The Sun. The album arrives on October 30. The band will launch the UK and Europe legs of the tour on May 22 at the First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds.
The announcement outlined the group’s touring plans and ticketing schedule. It also revealed the special guest joining them on the road.
“We’re taking ‘Everything Under The Sun’ on the road…with special guests Don Broco!” the band said. “Our pre-sale starts Tuesday, October 13 at 10 a.m. local. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 16 at 10 a.m. local. See you out there.”
The scale of the run shows how much the band is putting behind the new record. Here is a closer look at the tour and the album it supports.
The 2027 outing is a 70-date global arena tour. It begins in North America on February 6. From May to July, the band moves through the UK and Europe, before ending in Australia in October. Don Broco will support on most dates, with a few exceptions.
After Leeds, the UK run continues with shows at London’s The O2 on May 25 and Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on May 28. The band then plays Dublin’s 3Arena on May 30, Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on June 1 and Manchester’s Co-op Live on June 2.
The European leg starts in Brussels on June 5. It moves on to Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, Cologne’s Lanxess Arena and Munich’s Olympiahalle. Later stops include Zurich, Milan, Vienna, Prague and Budapest. The run then heads north to Gothenburg’s Scandinavium on July 11 and Copenhagen’s Royal Arena on July 13. It also includes dates in Finland and Norway.
Everything Under The Sun is Nickelback’s eleventh studio album. It has 12 songs, opening with “Rattle The Cage (feat. John 5)” and closing with “Last Night Was Fun.” Other titles include “Bones For The Crows,” “I Already Know,” “Leave Me Behind” and “Make Me Love You.”
