Slash is releasing a blues album, and the details are on their way.
The Guns N’ Roses guitarist has posted a teaser video on his social media accounts where he reveals his desire to create a blues record in his career. In the video, Slash is shown in the studio, equipped with a Gibson ES electric guitar, expressing:
“I’m a rock guitar player that’s firmly rooted in blues. If you were to listen to anything that I do, you can see how big the blues influence is, and I always thought that I’d wanna record a record of it at some point. And we got together and did it.”
The rocker will be revealing more details about the album this Friday.
A Surprise Collaboration Is On The Way

In July 2023, Slash informed Yahoo Entertainment that his blues record was set to be released in 2024, stating:
“It is definitely coming out.”
He provided more information and details, mentioning his collaboration with Demi Lovato and highlighting the diversity in their respective projects:
“There’s not really much more to tell you at this point, but [Demi Lovato and I] definitely recorded something. Her [album] is way different than mine. It’s a completely different type of a song, so it’s interesting how diverse her voice can be.”
Slash also revealed that Lovato invited him to contribute to the re-recorded version of ‘Sorry Not Sorry,’ featured on her ‘Revamped’ album, comprising her popular songs transformed into rock tracks, showcasing a collaboration between the two musicians.
