Skid Row Officially Announces Another Cancelation

Skid Row announced via their official Instagram account that some technical problems forced them to cancel their show in Joliet, Illinois, which was scheduled to take place on September 20.
The band wrote in their post:
“Tonight’s Skid Row and Buckcherry show has been canceled due to a power outage at the Rialto Theater. Please read the post for refund information.”
They also shared a message from the Rialto Theater, explaining:
“We regret to inform you that September 20, 2023, Skid Row and Buckcherry — The Gang’s All Here at Rialto Square Theatre has been canceled due to a power outage at the theatre. All ticket holders will receive a full refund at this time. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded to the credit card used for payment.”
Last week, Skid Row again took to their Instagram to inform fans that their tour dates with Buckcherry scheduled for October 2023 have been delayed due to Erik Gronwall’s continuing health concerns. The statement said:
“Due to utmost concern for the health and well-being of one of our own, Skid Row’s lead vocalist, Erik Gronwall, the band has made the decision to move the third leg of their highly anticipated US and Canada tour originally scheduled for October 2023 to March 2024.”
The singer also shared a message and revealed that he was still dealing with the effects of the stem cell transplantation he had in August 2021. He apologized to fans, promoters, Buckcherry, and his Skid Row bandmates, acknowledging that it would take time to recover and continue touring fully.
