Taylor Swift apparently has inspired and gave hope to the Shinedown guitarist Zach Myers.
The rocker appeared in a new interview with American Songwriter, where he was asked about the one thing in 2023 that made him raise an eyebrow when it came to the world of music. Despite being a rock guitarist, the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer got Myers’ hopes up for the future of the music industry with one thing:
“The fact that Taylor Swift made basically 4 albums in 3-4 years and didn’t miss at all. That gives me hope for music and for writers.”

Swift giving Myers hope is pretty understandable since the singer scored the number one spot on the Billboard 200 as a solo artist with the recent launch of her album, ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version).’ Swift even exceeded Elvis Presley, who held the record with 67 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. She surpassed the King of Rock with a total of 68 weeks at the summit of the Billboard 200.
Still, she has a long way to go before she can overtake the record of The Beatles, who have spent 132 weeks in the number one spot.
