Sharon Osbourne Sends Kanye West A Harsh Message For Ripping Off Ozzy

Sharon Osbourne opened up about the Kanye West incident.

In a new chat with Howie Mandel Does Stuff, the Black Sabbath rocker’s wife explained the issue with Kanye. She recalled the incident and the words she told him: That he was ‘f*cking with the wrong person’:

“Do you know what? People say this to me all the time. I don’t care. I honestly don’t care he’s a danger and he has a huge platform for a lot of young people, they listen to him and he’s just a danger, anybody with hate speech. It’s so ugly and hurtful soul destroying to wake up and hear this man ranting. It’s just revolting. I said to him, ‘You f*ck with the wrong Jew.'”

What Did Kanye Do?

Ozzy said Kanye wanted to use one of his songs as a sample but was turned down because Ozzy thinks Kanye is an antisemite. However, Kanye still used the sample at a listening event in Chicago.

Ozzy accused Kanye of being antisemitic more than a year after Kanye got into trouble for antisemitism and using ‘White Lives Matter’ slogans. This got Kanye kicked out of a lot of business deals and made him lose his billionaire status.

In December last year, Kanye apologized to the Jewish community for anything he said or did that upset them.

Osbourne Vs Kanye Drama Is Over

The Kanye West and Ozzy Osbourne feud made the headlines for weeks. Sometime later, the Osbourne family clarified their current relationship with the rapper:

“He eventually pulled it and that’s all we have to say. We just didn’t want to be associated with anything with him because of his stance on current issues which are very important to me and your dad. We didn’t want to have any association with anybody like that. And that’s the end of it, next.”

In addition to their comments, Ozzy himself slammed the rapper on social media for using a sample from ‘Iron Man’ without his permission:

“Kanye West asked permission to sample a section of a 1983 live performance of ‘Iron Man’ from the US Festival without vocals & was refused permission because he is an anti-Semite and has caused untold heartache to many. He went ahead and used the sample anyway at his album listening party last night. I want no association with this man!”

After the public dispute, Kanye removed the ‘Iron Man’ sample from his song. The Osbourne family confirmed the drama ended as Ozzy said he had no association with the rapper anymore.
