Sebastian Bach Shares His Wish About Elvis Presley’s Late Daughter Lisa Marie

After being rushed to the hospital on Thursday, Lisa Marie Presley, a singer and the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, passed away at the age of 54. Former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach was among the names who paid tribute to her. When Bach got the news, he realized how tired he was from losing loved ones. On top of that, he was heartbroken that he couldn’t spend more time with his friend.

“I’m so sick and tired of running to the phone and posting pictures of people that I know that just died,” the musician said, sharing his feelings. “If some of you don’t realize how short life is, what more proof could you need than Lisa Marie. I’m 54 years old myself. Every day it’s another scary fact of life right in the face for all of us.”

The singer continued, “I would like to say sorry to Lisa Marie for not hanging out with her more and cheering her up more and putting a smile on her face like we did this night here. [When] Guns N Roses last time played in Los Angeles, we hung out with Lisa Marie two nights in a row, really got to know her, laughed, had fun, and rocked hard. Those days are now gone. It was great meeting you and knowing you for a short time Lisa Presley. Wish we could have hung out and rocked a little longer.”

Presley was the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. She was only nine years old in 1977 when Elvis passed away. Twenty years later, Lisa decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and released ‘Don’t Cry Daddy,’ a duet featuring the King of Rock and Roll’s vocals, in 1997 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his passing. Later, she pursued a career in music like her father, putting out the albums ‘To Whom It May Concern,’ ‘Now What,’ and ‘Storm & Grace.’

Two days before being admitted to the hospital, the late singer attended the Golden Globes award ceremony in Los Angeles with her mother to support the cast of Baz Luhrmann’s critically praised biopic Elvis. Following a suspected cardiac attack, Presley was transported to the hospital last week from her home. Later on Thursday night, Lisa’s 77-year-old mother confirmed her passing.
