Sammy Hagar Shares His All-Time Favorite Van Halen Song To Record
Former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar shared a post on his official Instagram page celebrating the 33rd anniversary of his second album with Van Halen, ‘OU812,’ by revealing a picture from back then including band members, late guitarist Eddie Van Halen, bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Alex Van Halen, and Sammy himself.
As many of you know, ‘OU812’ is the eighth studio album of Van Halen which was released in 1988 and is the second album to feature Sammy Hagar as the lead vocalist. The album peaked at the U.S. Billboard 200 to number one and sold over 4 million copies in the United States.
Recently, Sammy Hagar shared a picture on his official Instagram page in which he revealed the band members back when the album ‘OU812’ was recorded in order to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the album. All the members of Van Halen look extremely chic and young in the picture which gave the fans the ultimate feeling of a throwback.

While every fan shared a comment asking questions about OU182, a fan asked Sammy Hagar his favorite Van Halen song to record and perform in the comments section, and Hagar revealed that it’s ‘Best of Both Worlds’ from the band’s seventh studio album, ‘5150’ which was released on March 24, 1986.
