The Circle frontman Sammy Hagar shared a post on his official Instagram page announcing that the music video for ‘Heroes’ from their brand new cover album named ‘Lockdown 2020’ will be released in addition to thanking their fans for bringing the song to the top in Amazon and iTunes.

As you may know, The Circle has been performing in ‘Lockdown Sessions’ which included band members to cover legendary songs via online streaming since the coronavirus pandemic started to take off back in March and sessions have become enormously successful among fans.

So successful that, The Circle has decided to release eleven of its most popular covers during the sessions as an album collection with the name of ‘Lockdown 2020’ nearly a month ago. The cover album includes songs like AC/DC‘s ‘Whole Lotta Rosie,’ ‘Right Now‘ and ‘Don’t Tell Me What Love Can Do‘ by Van Halen, and Bob Marley‘s ‘Three Little Birds.’

The band released their cover version of David Bowie’s song, ‘Heroes’ on December 10, 2020, prior to the release of the ‘Lockdown 2020,’ and the song became a huge success as it has thousands of views on Youtube and topped the charts.

Recently, Sammy Hagar shared audio from the song ‘Heroes’ on his official Instagram page announcing that the band also will be releasing a music video for the cover track in addition to thanking their fans for cherishing the song by making it the number one on Classic Rock at both Amazon and iTunes.

Here is what Hagar said:

“’We could be heroes, just for one day.’ Video coming soon for LockDown 2020 new track number 11! to everyone for making Heroes #1 Classic Rock at Amazon and #1 Classic Rock on iTunes!
