Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke has publicly shared what he claims are private messages sent by Crossfaith guitarist Daiki Koide to a 14-year-old fan. This escalates his previous allegations against the musician on Ronnie Radke’s Instagram.
Radke’s latest post included screenshots of alleged direct messages. He says these were provided by the young fan’s mother. The accusations come as both bands are scheduled to tour Europe together.
“Here’re all the messages Daiki Koide sent to a 14-year-old girl at 37 years old (her mother sent me them) since some of y’all want to say ‘innocent until proven guilty,'” Radke stated.
He continued with stronger language regarding the alleged behavior and those who might defend it.
“Anybody who reads that and tries to make an excuse is literally a predator too,” he said. “There is no reason to be DM’ing a 14-year-old girl and flirting with her at 37.”
This development follows Radke’s earlier video accusations against the Crossfaith guitarist. It intensifies the controversy surrounding their upcoming joint European tour.
The allegations against Koide come at a significant time for Crossfaith. The band has recently undergone major changes and entered a new creative phase.
The PRP revealed that Daiki Koide became a full-time member of the Japanese metalcore band in early 2024. He has served as a touring member since 2022. His official membership followed the disbanding of his previous group, Her Name In Blood.
Chaoszine noted that Koide expressed excitement about creating new music and performing with Crossfaith without holding back. The band has been active since 2006 and originates from Osaka. It is known for blending metalcore with electronic music influences and delivering intense live performances.
The timing of these allegations is particularly notable as Crossfaith recently released a new track titled “Zero.” This marks their return from a one-year hiatus. The PRP described the new music as filled with “primitive energy” that aims to break through darkness and be reborn anew.
This controversy now overshadows what was meant to be a fresh start for both Koide’s full-time role in Crossfaith and their upcoming European tour alongside Falling in Reverse.
