Roger Waters Announces The ’This Is Not A Drill’ Show’s Rescheduled Dates For 2022

Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters posted a video on his Twitter account to announce the rescheduled dates of his highly-anticipated This Is Not A Drill North American Tour and shares some details about the program as well as information for the ticketholders.

As you may know, besides his rising interest in the social and political issues around the world, Roger Waters has been working on his solo music career regardless of the pandemic. Earlier in 2019, Waters released his concert film, ‘Us + Them,’ all around the world. The film portrayed the live tours of Roger Waters in 2017 and 2018, which consisted of 156 shows to 2.3 million people.

Later in 2020, the former Pink Floyd member announced that he will be on tour for the summer across North America. Although Roger shared the exciting details of the ‘This Is Not A Drill’ Tour with his fans at the beginning of 2020, he had to postpone the dates since the Covid-19 pandemic continued to affect the world deeply.

Recently on Twitter, Roger Waters posted a new video to announce that the rescheduled dates of This Is Not A Drill North American Tour for the summer of 2022. In the announcement, he stated that his ‘first farewell tour’ will be a ‘groundbreaking new rock and roll/cinematic extravaganza, performed in the round, it is a stunning indictment of the corporate dystopia in which we all struggle to survive.’

Apparently, Waters will be performing songs from Pink Floyd’s Golden Era alongside several new ones in the upcoming 36 shows across the US and Canada which will begin in Pittsburgh on July 6, 2022. Roger also shared some important information for the ticketholders in his announcement and urged them to hold onto their original tickets and wait for the email with further information.

This Is Not A Drill scheduled for 2020 was postponed due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic. We are thrilled to announce these dates for the summer of 2022 while keeping in mind the safety of all parties.

Roger Waters will play 36 shows across the US and Canada starting in Pittsburgh on July 6, 2022, at the PPG Paints Arena.
